Newsletter

August 2018

Greetings Hanover Manor Homeowners!

The Board of Directors hopes this newsletter finds you staying cool.  It is almost that time of year again – we are gearing up for our annual Home Owner Association meeting, garage sale and the return of the subdivision block party in conjunction with the City of St. Charles “National Night out.”

Please see below for important updates from our most recent Board of Directors meeting:

Important Reminders

  • Board Members Needed: The Hanover Manor Board of Directors is looking to fill the Secretary & Treasurer positions immediately. The Vice President will be rotating out in December of 2018 with President following in 2019.
  • Architectural Drawings: It is the hope of the Board of Directors (BOD), that we can help all residents in this subdivision feel comfortable and enjoy the esthetics of our wonderful homes.  For this reason, we annually address the importance of supplying the BOD with requests for any external changes or additions that you make to your property.  In many instances, we only need a rough drawing or worded description of what your plans are in order to determine if the architectural changes are in line with the by-laws of our subdivision (as listed on the subdivision website stcharleshanovermanor.com)
  • Boats/Campers: As a reminder, per the HOA covenants & restrictions, boats, campers and/or trailers are not permitted to remain on any lot for more than 24 hours. Notices have been sent to those in violation this Summer – we appreciate you taking quick action to adhere to this.

Budget | 2018 & 2019

  • The updated projected vs. actual 2018 budget will be presented at the annual HOA meeting as well as the projected budget for 2019.

The street will be barricaded off so bring a lawn chair, beverage of choice and enjoy the evening! We are excited to see the turnout this year!
  • Subdivision Garage Sale
    • Date: Saturday, September 15, 2017
    • Time: 7am – 1pm
    • What to expect: To participate, please email hanovermanorpres@gmail.com. Each homeowner participating can stop by the intersection of Marbach Way and Court at 6am on 9/15 to pick up balloons for their mailbox. The HOA will also place 4 signs throughout the neighborhood to help advertise. If you see a sign in your yard advertising the neighborhood garage sale and you do not want it to be there, simply email the Board and we will relocate the sign.

Have a safe rest of your summer – we hope to see you at an event soon!

Respectfully,

Hanover Manor Board of Directors
